What the delivery & collection service covers
Our delivery and collection service is end-to-end transport for static caravans, park homes and lodges anywhere on mainland UK. That means we collect the unit from wherever it currently sits – a dealer’s compound, a private address, or a holiday or residential park – and deliver it to your chosen destination. Transport starts from £950 for most moves. Longer distances are priced competitively because we work with a trusted national network of specialist teams, not one-off hauliers.
The service includes:
- Pre-move site survey to check access for a low-loader (width of entrance, overhead cables, ground condition, turning space)
- ESDAL abnormal load notification where required – anything over approximately 2.9 m wide needs at least two clear working days’ notice to Highways authorities

- Route planning, marker boards and all relevant permits
- Loading, securing and transporting the unit on a specialist low-loader
- Delivery and positioning on the destination pitch

New purchase from a dealer

Private sale or relocation to a new park
Moving to a park with lower pitch fees or a better location? We collect from the existing pitch and deliver to the new one. Park age limits vary – some parks refuse units over 10 or 15 years old – so confirm acceptance before booking. Collection after a site closure or eviction

Twin-unit park homes

What you need to arrange before collection day
A few items fall outside our scope and must be arranged by you before collection day:
- Gas, water and electrical disconnection – must be signed off by a qualified professional. Some parks insist only their own team may disconnect; check your site agreement early. We do not carry out certified utility work and are not liable for it.
- Skirting and decking removal – usually customer-arranged; we can quote to include it, but it adds time and cost.
- Pitch readiness and park approval at the destination – confirm the ground is prepared and any park management sign-off is in place before the delivery date.
- Utility reconnection at the destination also needs a qualified professional – book ahead to avoid delays after delivery.

Can you collect my static caravan from a dealer?
Yes. We collect from dealer compounds, showgrounds and private addresses anywhere on mainland UK. Just give us the dealer’s address and contact details along with your destination when you enquire.
Can you collect and deliver a static caravan on the same day?
For shorter distances this is often possible. Longer hauls may require an overnight stop, which we factor into the quote and schedule. We’ll confirm the likely timeline when you book.
What if the lorry can’t get onto the pitch?
Access is one of the most common complications. We carry out a site check using satellite imagery and street-level view before confirming the booking. If access is tight, we discuss options – a smaller rigid vehicle or an alternative entry point – before you commit.
Who disconnects the gas, water and electricity?
That’s your responsibility to arrange – it must be done by a suitably qualified professional and signed off before we load. Some holiday and residential parks insist that only their own site team may disconnect services, so check your site agreement well in advance. We do not carry out certified utility disconnections or reconnections.
Do I need special permits for the journey?
Most static caravans exceed 2.9 m wide and require ESDAL abnormal load notification – at least two clear working days’ notice to Highways. Units over around 3.5 m typically need an escort vehicle. We handle permits, notifications, route planning, marker boards and escort coordination; you don’t need to contact Highways yourself.
Can you deliver to private land rather than a park?

How far in advance should I book?
The sooner, the better – especially in spring and summer when demand peaks. ESDAL notifications alone require two clear working days, so last-minute bookings may not always be possible. A few weeks’ lead time is comfortable for most moves; for complex twin-unit or long-distance jobs, four to six weeks is sensible.
